Final Post
This blog post is a little late, but I can now finally say that we finished the demo of our game DynaMove. The day before our deadline was the first time we added the first person controller to the map that was created by two other group members, and this is not recommended. We immediately had a lot of problems with the most significant being how extremely hard the game was to play. Before this moment, the way you controlled the player in the air was only with the WASD keys, which made it super hard to control. To fix this, I made it so that the direction you would move to in the air was controlled by your look direction. This means that you control the player with the mouse, which makes it possible to move really quickly, which is very essential especially at the beginning of the level with all the wall riding challenges. Overall, the demo turned out to be successful, with some people even downloading the demo and playing it on their free time.
